Anne has worked as a feature writer for Sauce Magazine, a food monthly in Saint Louis, and as a music writer/columnist for Playback Magazine, a music and culture monthly. She has also been published in The Washington Post, The Times of Southwest Louisiana and Divine Caroline. She holds a master's degree in journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and has taught Feature Writing and Memoir Writing at McNeese State University in Louisiana.
Anne has been an avid runner for the past seven years, and has participated in a number of 5K races, half-marathons and one marathon. She currently attends the MFA program in fiction writing at Bowling Green State University, where she writes, teaches composition and runs each morning.
